Taylor Swift became an incredibly popular performer and song writer in the early part of 2001, with stories of pain and heartbreak. Swift was a fan of music from a young stage and progressed swiftly through roles in the children's theater until her first performance before a crowd of thousands. The moment Swift performed The Star-Spangled Banner in front of the Philadelphia 76ers at a game at the age of 11 she had already begun writing songs. After that, she began playing guitar. Swift, who took her ideas from Shania's music as well as the Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks within the realm of country music, created the original songs she wrote to express her experience with alienation. In the year 13 Swift's parents sold their property in Pennsylvania in order to relocate to Hendersonville Tennessee so she could spend more time to wooing labels from the country near Nashville.
