Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka Shankar is a British-American sitarist and musician. She was among the youngest and first woman to receive an award from the British House of Commons Shield she has had nine Grammy Awards nominations and was the first artist of Indian of Indian descent to perform live and to serve as a presenter at the award ceremony. Anoushka is the rising star in Indian sitar. She is a scholar and daughter of the famous Ravi Shankar. She was born 1982 in London.
